I have worked at Forresters since completing my Masters in chemistry at Oxford University in 2005. I have a fairly broad scientific knowledge and I focussed specifically on organic chemistry whilst completing the research phase of my degree.

I work mostly in the prosecution and drafting of patents in the chemical, pharmaceutical and biotech fields. In addition, I carry out some mechanical patents work and have assisted clients in respect of designs, copyright and trade mark law. I have particular experience of filing UK and European patent applications and have also advised clients in relation to worldwide IP strategy. I am a member of the Royal Society of Chemistry.

Outside of work, I play lead guitar in a band and enjoy listening to all types of live music. I also take a keen interest in cricket, rugby and football.
