Claire Keating
Trade Mark Assistant
I graduated in 2003, with a BSc (Hons) in Product Design from Buckinghamshire Chilterns University College.
In 2005, I took a role in Trade Mark formalities as a ‘temporary measure’ whilst reassessing my career plans, and was quickly hooked by the day-to-day variation and challenges that Trade Mark work offers.
I subsequently gained a Postgraduate Certificate in Intellectual Property Law from Queen Mary’s University London, before joining Forresters in 2008 as a Paralegal, with promotion to trainee in early 2011.
I am responsible for a number of international filing projects, oppositions and Cancellation Actions, advising clients on the prosecution and development of their portfolio, and preparing and filing evidence and arguments as required.
In my spare time, I enjoy reading, cooking and watching live music, and am regularly kept entertained by my two house rabbits.
