I joined Forresters in 2003 after graduating from Bristol University and am now involved in a wide variety of IP issues.

I draft and prosecute UK, European and international patent applications for electromechanical inventions. I also file and prosecute UK and Community registered design applications. I like the challenging nature of my job, in particular the complexities involved with drafting a new patent application to maximise the scope of protection for an invention.

Before joining Forresters and entering the world of intellectual property, I worked at a number of photonics companies where I was involved in developing lasers and multiplexing systems for high speed optical communication.

When I am not in the office I enjoy cycling, digital photography and the occasional camping expedition.
