I qualified as a UK & European trade mark attorney and European design attorney in 2003. I also hold a degree in Applied & Human Biology BSc.(HONS) and in 1997 I obtained an MSc in the Management of Intellectual Property.

My work life started in-house in the trade mark department of a large multi-national company. I subsequently moved to private practice here in the UK and then joined the IP department of a general law firm in California. The majority of my practice focuses on the prosecution and clearance of trade marks both at a domestic and international level and the management and maintenance of trade mark portfolios. I also litigate on a range of contentious matters including oppositions, invalidation and revocation actions and I deal with the negotiated settlement of disputes.
