Assistant, Trade Marks

I graduated in 2005 with degrees in Journalism and Law (with Honours) from the University of Canberra, Australia. In 2006 I was admitted as a solicitor in the Supreme Court of New South Wales. I practised for four years in Sydney at a niche intellectual property firm, working primarily on Australian and New Zealand trade mark matters.

I left Australia in 2010 and spent a year backpacking around Central and North America, Cuba and India. Along the way, I picked up some basic Spanish phrases, a scuba diving accreditation, and a couple of bouts of severe food poisoning.

I joined the trade marks team at Forresters in 2011 and am involved in all areas of trade mark practice including clearance searching, prosecution, oppositions and infringement matters in the UK and Europe. I also assist clients with the management of their trade mark portfolios around the world.

Outside of the office, I am enjoying exploring my new home town of London and its proximity to the continent. I am also a dedicated sports fan, cricket tragic and keen skier.
