Sam Jinks

I graduated from Cardiff University in 2007 with a BEng (Hons) in Mechanical Engineering then spent a year both working and travelling the world prior to joining Forresters in 2008.

My background is both engineering and IT-based and during University placements I have worked in aerospace engineering, focusing on pilot life support systems, and in nuclear power generation, investigating the effect of radiation on reactor cores.

Since joining Forresters I have been involved with work in a wide variety of technological fields from automotive, safety and the purely mechanical, to the electronic and computer-oriented, in both the UK and Europe. In addition to this, I have handled a number of registered designs.

Outside work, I am a keen musician being an experienced ’cellist and an avid DJ and have performed extensively in both capacities. I also have a passion for cookery, comical and travel literature and putting that reading into practice with trips abroad.
