I joined Forresters in October 2001 and since then have advised clients on a wide spectrum of technologies. My day-to-day work involves the prosecution of patent and design applications for my clients’ products and advising clients in relation to mechanical-based inventions, including vacuum cleaners, vehicle components, scaffolding and medical devices. However, I often advise in relation to other technologies, such as those which are computer-related. I also assist clients with the protection of their trade marks, which is a very important part of any business – branding in the 21st century is often more important than the product itself.

When I’m not in the office I am an avid runner, cyclist and swimmer. Triathlons will no doubt follow in due course. A recent summer holiday was spent cycling along the East coast of the USA, from Miami to New York.
