Latest examination success for Forresters trainees

We are again delighted to announce that several of our professional staff have been successful in the recent British JEB (Joint Examination Board) examinations, taken towards the end of last year. The JEB governs the UK professional examinations for the Chartered Institute of Patent Attorneys, and the Institute of Trade Mark Attorneys.

In our London office, Melissa Ah Chan passed her remaining trade mark paper (T6 – Advanced Community and International Trade Mark Law and Practice), and is now fully qualified. Saba Al-Sultani was successful in paper T3 (Advanced UK Trade Mark Law and Practice), Carolina Taplin was also successful in the T6 advanced paper and Sam Jinks passed three foundation papers – P1 (UK Patent Law), P5 (Overseas Patent Law) and D&C (Designs and Copyright).

At Potts Kerr & Co (our associated firm, in Merseyside), David Murphy passed his last UK patent paper, and is now fully qualified, as a UK Chartered Patent Attorney.

In Birmingham, Nick Palmer passed all four of his foundation papers, at the first sitting (UK and Overseas Patent and Trade Mark Law) – an impressive performance.

Emma Johnson, already qualified in the UK as a Chartered Patent Attorney, was successful with her first advanced trade mark paper – T4 (Advanced Trade Mark Search) – reputed to be one of the most difficult.

We are again very proud of these achievements, which reflect both our professionals’ calibre and the hard work that they have put into their exam preparation.

Congratulations to all of them.
