More Examination Success for Forresters Trainees
We are delighted to announce that several of our trainees have again been successful in their recent professional examinations, taken at the end of 2007.
The exams are governed by the Joint Examination Board, and are considered to be amongst the toughest on the IP circuit, and this continued success is thus a significant achievement, by all concerned.
At the foundation level, Chris Bond passed two more papers, relating to Basic UK and Overseas Trade Marks Law, and is now part-qualified. Melissa Ah Chan and Carolina Taplin were also successful, passing the Basic Overseas Trade Marks paper and thus are also now part-qualified.
At the finals level, Emma Johnson and Charlotte Dale passed both the papers they took, and at the first attempt: UK Patent Attorneys' Practice, and Infringement and Validity of UK Patents, the latter being widely regarded as being one of the most difficult. Andy Harding and Russell Sessford were also successful in these two papers, as well as in the Prosecution and Revocation Proceedings paper, again at their first attempts. Dan Rusby was also successful in the Prosecution and Revocation Proceedings paper.
Congratulations, from the partners and staff, to all of them.
