London is the UK’s capital city and should need no introduction – it’s a world-class and thriving centre for the arts, business and commerce, finance, legal services, entertainment, education and fashion.
Standing on the River Thames, it’s one of the world’s most-visited cities by international guests, and with good reason: London offers its visitors an almost unrivalled array of attractions, cuisine, architecture, history and culture.
Our office has a prime location in ‘The City’, in the iconic Gherkin building, the city’s most instantly recognisable tower and is within walking distance of many key stations. This sustainable building uses various energy efficient methods, which allow it to consume only half the power that a similar tower would typically consume. Our London presence – which we have had for well over a century – allows us to compete on the world stage and to benefit from (and contribute to) the city’s reputation as one of the world’s best places to do business.
Its reputation as a centre of legal excellence is richly-deserved, too: judgments from the UK’s courts are widely seen as some of the best in the world, and our relationships with senior members of the legal profession help us to stay at the top of our game.
With its eight Royal Parks, fabulous theatres and a thriving social and dining scene, it is difficult to overstate the importance and attraction of London – so we hope you might pay us a visit one day, and experience it at first hand.
