I graduated from the University of Oxford (New College) with a first class Masters degree in Chemistry in 2005 and have worked at Forresters since then. The findings of my final year research project were published inThe Journal of Organic Chemistry.
I work mostly in the prosecution and drafting of patents in the chemical, pharmaceutical and biotech fields. The technical fields I have worked in are diverse, ranging from battery technology to pharmaceutical compositions. I also have experience in preparing freedom to operate and due diligence opinions and representing clients in hearings before the EPO.
I regularly file UK and European patent applications and I am involved in obtaining patent protection throughout the world. I am a member of the Royal Society of Chemistry.
Outside of work, I play guitar and enjoy listening to all types of live music. I take a keen interest in cricket, rugby and football.
