I read chemistry at Peking University, obtained MSc in Applied Biomolecular Technology and then PhD in Biophysics at Nottingham University. My doctoral thesis was on investigation of nano-biomaterials by atomic force microscopy (AFM). I also hold an MSc in Management of Intellectual Property at Queen Mary, University of London.
I worked as a scientist in the UK R&D headquarter of an international pharmaceutical company in the field of inhalation drug product development. I joined Forresters in 2017 after training with a large Munich based European IP firm.
My work mainly involves patent prosecutions before the European patent office. I also have a Chinese patent attorney qualification, which is particularly helpful when working with patent or other intellectual properties related issues regarding Chinese market, and when advising Chinese clients regarding the European practice.
Outside of work, I am passionate about origami. It clears my mind and lights up my spirit.
