I graduated with a MEng (Hons) in Mechanical Engineering from Bristol University in 2010. As a part of my degree, I spent a year studying in Sydney, working in computational fluid dynamics. In my final year, my research project was investigating the application of solar powered refrigeration to developing countries.
My work at Forresters involves drafting, filing and prosecuting patent and design applications in the UK, Europe and further afield. I also handle patent and design infringement matters and oppositions. I thoroughly enjoy working across a wide variety of technological fields including engine technology, renewables, construction, computing, medical devices and materials.
In my spare time, I enjoy road cycling, running, photography and cooking. Now that I’m based in Southampton, I’m often out cycling in the South Downs and I take part in the Winchester PPP annual mini triathlon. I also love to travel and I relish visiting new countries, experiencing different cultures and capturing unique photographs whenever I can.
