I graduated from Oxford University with a BA (Hons) in Biological Sciences and hold the Postgraduate Certificate in Intellectual Property Law from Queen Mary University.
I trained at a specialist firm of Patent and Trade Mark Attorneys in London and qualified as a Registered Trade Mark Attorney in 2011. I then moved to an international intellectual property law firm. During this time I spent six months on secondment in the London office of a global company which operates in the port and marine terminal sector, where I assisted with the management of their key global brands on an international basis.
I joined Forresters in November 2015 and my work covers a range of brand management issues, including clearance searches, advising on filing strategies, filing and prosecuting oppositions at the UK and OHIM and managing overseas oppositions for clients, as well as contentious matters.
I am an active member of the Institute of Trade Mark Attorneys and regularly volunteer at the free advice clinics held at the UK IPO in London. I also sit on the Institute of Trade Mark Attorneys’ OHIM Working Group.
